Q: So why did the U.S. Justice Department wait until TODAY (Feb. 1, ’23) to finally search Joe Biden’s beach house?
There is room for hope in the midst of it all. There is a fight worth fighting.
We have seen some smaller wins, and there will be some more because Christians and real Conservatives keep fighting. I pray we can see some big victories as well.
It seems to run rampant in all nations now. Let’s each make the choice and learn to hate corruption.
What does the Bible say about corruption?
Proverbs 4:24 Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
Proverbs 29:4 A just king gives stability to his nation, but one who demands bribes destroys it.
Hosea 9:9 They have sunk deep into corruption, as in the days of Gibeah. God will remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins.
Ephesians 4:22–23 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
2 Peter 2:20 If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.
2 Peter 1:2–4 May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
How does bad company corrupt good character (1 Corinthians 15:33)?
What about corruption in the government?
Through Christ people can escape the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desires.
Deuteronomy 31:29 I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt and will turn from the way I have commanded you to follow. In the days to come, disaster will come down on you, for you will do what is evil in the LORD’s sight, making him very angry with your actions.”
Genesis 6:12 God observed all this corruption in the world, for everyone on earth was corrupt.
Isaiah 1:4 Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.
What does the Old Testament say about corruption? Well, it can refer to literal, physical decay (Job 17:14; Psalm 16:10), but, most often, corruption is used figuratively for moral corruption and depravity (Exodus 32:7; Hosea 9:9). The prophets boldly took a stand against moral decay among God’s people: “The sin of the house of Israel and Judah is extremely great; the land is full of murder, and the city is full of corruption” (Ezekiel 9:9, NET).
What does it mean to have a reprobate mind?
Should the Hebrew midwives be commended for lying?
What does the Bible say about cheating?

What was it like in the days of Noah?
What does the Bible say about lying? Is lying a sin?
Why did God use a lying spirit to deceive Ahab?
What does the Bible say about integrity?
What are some Bible verses about lying?
Is it true that the bodies of some saints are incorruptible?
Who is corrupt? The Bible describes sinful humanity as corrupt: “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. The LORD looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one” (Psalm 14:1–3; see also Psalm 53:1–3; Isaiah 1:4).
If you choose to sow to the flesh then you will reap corruption simple as that. Yes, sin has consequences. It indeed has personal consequences. It also has physical consequences. What more? Sin has relational consequences. Sin has national consequences. Sin has global consequences. Yes, sin does have personal consequences, and very sadly, ultimately, sin has eternal consequences. Please.. when needed.. address your own sin and corruption early.
Every sin ever committed by any or every person will indeed be judged (either on the cross of Christ, or in the future at the Great White Throne Judgement before God. We choose where while we here on earth suck air. True).
What is the “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” sermon?
Do you have any confidence at all that things are going to get better on this earth? That’s a good question. Is there a much better life in the future? Is there hope for us? Yes, yes, yes in the millennium and beyond this world will be much better.
Really, isn’t this the way the earth is going to be from here on out? Nope, not forever.
Our corruption before God is seen by what we seek (v. 11), what we say (v.13), where we go (v.15), and what we see (v.18). Only God can solve our dilemma: we are saved by God, from the wrath of God, for the glory of God.
We need to think about Jesus and the cross. The cross like a prism, reveals God the Father’s incredible attributes to us:
1. It magnifies the justice of God
2. It magnifies the grace of God
3. It magnifies the glory of God
God came here, became a man and it was to rescue us from sin, corruption and death. The Jesus Christ of the Bible purchased us at high cost for Himself, saving even the worst of sinners.
Here is an absolute law; when enough people are sowing to the flesh, sin, relentlessly accumulates a kind of corruption that is inescapable from judgment. It’s inescapable; and God will not overrule the law of sowing and reaping. When this earth is so totally dominated by the flesh, by man’s sin, it cannot avoid a harvest of corruption, decay, destruction, ruin, and death.. but there will be a better future on earth even for Christian believers. Christ alone is your hope and mine. You must be born again because He said you must be born again (see John 3).
