Do You Live Practical, Soundly Spiritual, and Ethical?

There is no soundly spiritual living apart from the word of God. Factoid!

Even though trained watchdogs seem far better, a black cat, a white cat, a brown cat and an orange cat are all good too..if they catch rats! #KvSproverb

(I’m not thinking cats or dogs have been soundly spiritual or ethical mind you.. though some dogs and many cats seem to sin a lot..LOL!)

Does pragmatism work as a philosophical system? How is pragmatism as a system different from being pragmatic?

Pragmatism is interesting huh. Here are some drawbacks with it...

1.) Pragmatism as a test for truth is obviously false—philosophically speaking. It's easily debunked.
2.) Pragmatism can lead to false conclusions as a result of limited human knowledge; this is true both in a physical and a spiritual sense.
3.) Pragmatism not only lacks moral power, but it actually erodes it.

The first and second flaws of pragmatism are closely related.

Sup really with pragmatism?

What are some practical ways we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to the world?

What is pragmatic ethics?

What is practical theology?

What is the philosophy of ethics?

What is practical wisdom literature?

What are practical ways to depend on God alone?

Sup with pragmatic ethics?

Been trying to observe how some developments have played out in this regard overseas in China today.

Me thinks: Apart from China’s horrible Communism ..non-helpful ideologies, copious thievery of intellectual properties, and weaknesses in the area of manufacturing (Name what they’ve manufactured that they invented?) ..some Chinese have been pretty practical (i.e., against their own severe rural poverty they’ve largely overcome) in areas. And they built up a whole lot in China off of their thievery from the West, including from the USA.

I’m not minimizing, justifying or excusing any of their cheating and theft, or am I saying that Americans are good and all children of light. Just sayin’..

“The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly. For the sons of this age are more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the sons of light.” Luke 16:8 bsb

“But when he is found, he must repay seven times what he stole; he must give all the property of his house if necessary to meet his fine.” Proverbs 631 amp
